Privacy
In short: this site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Personal data only reaches us when you write to us yourself — and this is what we do with it.
Who is responsible for your data
Martin Opletal, trading as Prague Core, company ID (IČO) 87184931, registered office Loučky 149, 783 14 Hlušovice, Czech Republic, entered in the Czech Trade Licence Register. For anything about personal data, write to info@praguecore.com.
When you write to us
We process what you send us by email: your address, name and the content of your message, plus your company and project materials if you include them. We use them only to reply, prepare a quote and deliver the project.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for general questions, our legitimate interest in being able to answer you (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- An enquiry that does not turn into a project is deleted within two years at the latest.
- If you ask to hear when the book is out, we use your address for that one email and then delete it.
- Correspondence about a project is kept for the duration of our work together and then for as long as limitation periods run.
- Invoices and tax documents are archived for ten years, as Czech VAT law requires.
When you just browse
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, no tracking pixels and no fonts or scripts from third-party servers. That is why there is no cookie banner.
The site runs on the Cloudflare network. On every page load it technically processes your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the page and protect it from attacks (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not collect or analyse these records per person.
Who we entrust data to
We do not sell data or use it for advertising. Only two processors handle it — the services the site and email run on:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and delivery,
- Zoho Corporation — the info@praguecore.com mailbox.
Where data leaves the EU, this happens under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for your data to be transferred. Just write to info@praguecore.com; we reply within a month at the latest.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.
